It’s been a little while since we’ve shared one of our commercial projects, and we realized we don’t showcase this side of what we do nearly often enough. So here’s one we’re especially proud of.

We were honoured to work alongside Stratford Contracting on the millwork for the Tawâw Centre, a space that plays such an important role in the Fort McMurray community.

From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were welcomed by an incredible team whose kindness, positivity, and passion for what they do made this project even more meaningful. It was a pleasure working in a place filled with people who genuinely care about those they serve.

The Tawâw Centre is more than just a building. It’s a place of connection, support, healing, and opportunity, and we’re grateful to have contributed to a space that will continue to have a lasting impact on our community.

What’s this drawer for?!?!

Now THIS is the kind of kitchen feature we love showing people in the showroom!

It’s a wood pegboard system. Instead of hauling heavy plates in and out of upper cabinets, your everyday dishes are stored neatly in a deep drawer right where you need them. The adjustable pegs keep everything organized, stop dishes from sliding around, and make unloading the dishwasher a whole lot easier.

Honestly, it’s the kind of feature that quietly becomes everyone’s favourite part of the kitchen.

If you’ve never been through our showroom, this is your sign to come start opening drawers and cabinets….seriously! We’ve packed this place with hidden storage ideas, organization accessories, and clever little upgrades that most people don’t even know exist until they see them in person.

Some projects just feel a little more special

We had the opportunity to build the display cases for the new public art installations at the Jubilee Building, and it’s something we’re genuinely proud to have been part of. There’s a different kind of care that goes into work like this… knowing these pieces carry stories, history, and meaning for our community.

On March 19, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (@RMWoodbuffalo) welcomed four new artworks into the permanent public art collection, including: Stars in the Midst by Bernadette Cree Dumais, Eagle Spirit by Shawn McClure, Four Generations and Counting... by Jane Ash Poitras, and Maggie Paulin’s Mukluks by Tiffany Shaw & Elizabeth King. This project grounds the first floor of the Jubilee Building with the visual and oral storytelling of First Nation and Métis artists from the region. Sometimes a full kitchen renovation with brand new everything just isn’t in the budget, and we get it! Not every kitchen needs a full gut to feel brand new!

A full renovation can be pricey. Sometimes the smarter move is working with that you’re already got and putting your budget where it counts.

That’s exactly what these clients did.

Their cabinets were still in great shape, so they chose to have them painted (not a service we provide). Then we came in and built what really helped them change up the space and layout.

- Brand new island with updated door profile and style adding some warmth and opening the space while adding extra usable countertop space
- Removed a desk that wasn’t getting much use
- Added a beverage centre

The result is better flow, better function and a space that feels completely refreshed without starting from scratch.

Small changes can make a big impact on how your space works!

Our client wanted to make better use of this area, so we swapped out the old desk for a clean, trendy coffee / bar station with smart storage and a beverage centre. Everything you need, right where you want it, and beautiful shelves to display pretty drinkware a few art pieces, and add a personal touch that makes it feel like home.
