Quartz Countertops
Quartz countertops are a popular choice for their durability, low maintenance, and aesthetic appeal.
They are highly resistant to scratches, stains, and heat, making them ideal for busy kitchens. Additionally, quartz countertops come in a wide range of colors and patterns, allowing you to customize your space to your liking.
What is Quartz?
Quartz is one of the hardest minerals on Earth. Because of its strength and abundance, quartz is a popular and reliable choice for countertops. Quartz countertops are sometimes referred to as “engineered” or “man-made,” but quartz is in fact a natural stone. The amount of natural quartz in a slab depends on the quartz manufacturer.
Quartz is an agglomerate (or mixture) of stone-like materials bound with resins and pressed into sheets. Pure quartz is combined with pigments and resins to create slabs that are non-porous, strong, and beautiful. It is one of the hardest minerals in the world. It excels over stone counter materials because it needs no sealing; its resins are the sealant. It’s favored over solid surface countertops by many users because it has more of a natural look and feel.
